LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Lamar Odom’s not the type to wait around.

The NBA star, who married Khloe Kardashian after a whirlwind, month-long courtship, said on Friday night’s episode of “Chelsea Lately” that he’d like to have babies on the way, too.

“Soon,” he said. Asked if the couple wanted kids quickly, he added, “I do!”

Judging by his stats, Lamar, who has two children from a previous relationship, has love to give – he’s averaged 4.7 assists with the Los Angeles Lakers so far this season, up from last season’s 2.6 per game.

But a baby may not be the only thing the new couple would like to have on the way.

While it’s sister Kourtney who’s heading toward the expected conclusion of her pregnancy this Christmas, Khloe, who joined her husband on “Chelsea Lately,” said the Kardashian family may have some more news coming up after the holidays.

“Ryan [Seacrest] has been talking to us about it,” Khloe said of a possible reality show for the newlyweds. “I mean, right now, we have so much going on, but we don’t know. We’ve got to get through the holidays, and then we’ll discuss it again after that.”
